REPET LAB, innovative space for experimenting ideas and thinking the future, located at the Chemistry building (room 265, CU014) of Sapienza University of Rome, has been completely renovated and equipped with advanced laboratory instrumentation after the selection in the funding program PRE-SEED Plus PR FESR Lazio 2021–2027.

Designed for studying and developing a new way of a chemical recycling process for plastic materials, the lab hosts now researchers of Re4real, brand of the start-up REPET, pioneer in the depolymerization of PET at low energy cost (ambient temperature and pressure), with the synthesis of a bio-organic catalyst.
